Help us fight for a better Weston, Worle & the villages

Weston Conservative Association relies entirely on the help of volunteers and donations, so every little helps. Even if you can only deliver leaflets down your road or donate just a few pounds, it all makes a difference. You can make a donation in a number of different ways or, if you’d like to volunteer instead, you can contact us.

Every penny we receive is spent directly on campaigning to win Weston-super-Mare and the villages.

£5 would pay for printing and delivery of campaign leaflets to two key streets
£10 would pay for window posters for 60 houses
£15 would pay for 500 leaflets to be delivered by volunteers
£25 would pay for 100 targeted letters to swing voters
£50 would pay for 200 surveys to be posted to people new to the area

Donation rules

Under the Political Party Elections and Referendums Act 2000 (PPERA) you must be on the electoral register in the UK excluding the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man in order to make a donation of more than £500.

If you donate more than £50 to a candidate or £1,500 to their constituency association, or more than £7,500 to the Party’s national campaigns, we are obliged under the Political Parties Elections and Referendums Act 2000 to report such a donation to the Electoral Commission who will publish names (but not addresses) on their website. For reporting purposes, each donation over £500 in a calendar year is added together. For more information, please see http://www.electoralcommission.gov.uk/
